Since setting up a branch in Italy in January, Real Garant is continuing to expand its business in Southern Europe to encompass the Portuguese, Croatian and Slovenian markets.
Real Garant Versicherung AG has plans for further expansion. The dynamic business is broadening its business activities and now also offers its products and services in Portugal, Slovenia and Croatia. The Zurich subsidiary will now have a local presence in fourteen European countries, and currently supports a total of more than 7500 business clients, from car dealers, manufacturers and importers to independent garages.“On the manufacturing side, the demand for international partnerships is increasing constantly. That is what makes this the perfect time for us, as a medium-sized customer loyalty specialist, to continue our expansion into new countries. Other countries are already in the pipeline,” Lutz Kortlüke, the CEO of Real Garant, tells us.
Expansion to Portugal – The new Portuguese market will be managed from the branch in Madrid. Real Garant has been active in Spain for 20 years now, and numbers among the leading providers of warranty products. Two partnership agreements have already been signed with manufacturers for Portugal. The business provides Mercedes-Benz’ tyre guarantee and Jaguar/Land Rover also wants to extend its guarantee business to Portugal with Real Garant. “We are really pleased to be able to serve Portugal as well as Spain and hope to further expand our presence on this market soon by means of additional partnerships,” explains Javier Mesa, General Manager of the branch office in Spain.
Expansion to Slovenia and Croatia – Until now, the markets in Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia have been managed from the branch in Vienna. In the future, Michael Erb, General Manager of the branch office in Vienna, and his team of nine will also be responsible for the Slovenian and Croatian markets. Contracts have also been signed already in the two Adriatic countries. For example, the warranty specialist will be offering its products and services with Jaguar/Land Rover in the future.
