Gabriel Gallinger joins the Board of Directors of Real Garant

Denkendorf, 25 September 2025 – Gabriel Gallinger is joining the Management Board of Real Garant Versicherung AG and leaving the GI-Technical division of Zurich Group Germany. At Real Garant Versicherung AG, a warranty insurer and wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Group Germany, he will be responsible for the Underwriting division as Chief Underwriting Officer and also for the Finance division as Chief Finance Officer.

Gabriel Gallinger has been General Representative of Real Garant Versicherung AG for the Underwriting division since 1 April and has continued to serve as Head of Personal Lines Non-Motor at Zurich Group Germany. Following approval by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), he will officially take up his new executive board positions at Real Garant on 1 October.

Gabriel Gallinger has been Head of Personal Lines Non-Motor at Zurich Group Germany since October 2023. He began his career at Zurich on 1 January 2023 as Head of the Liability & Property department in the P&C division. Prior to that, he held various management positions at Generali Deutschland AG and brings with him extensive experience in P&C and accounting.
