Claims

The Claims department works to ensure a timely and straightforward handling of all claim settlements. Responsibilities in the Claims department include:

  • Claims management (settlement, supervision, claim review)
  • Assessing plausibility and, if necessary, assigning an appraiser
  • Correspondence with dealerships, manufacturers and experts
  • Cost control

Customer Support

Our Customer Support department handles our partners’ contractual questions. Responsibilities might include:

  • Written and telephone support for contractual partners
  • Creating and sending contract documents
  • Managing product and customer data in the Warranty Management System (WMS)
  • Sending product documents and advertising materials
  • Providing numbers, evaluations, etc. to our outside sales representatives

The department of Finance & Risk Management includes accounting, controlling and risk management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing business development and financial planning
  • Preparing stakeholder reports
  • Preparing monthly and annual financial statements for Real Garant

  • Identifying and assessing the company’s material risks and introducing risk-reducing measures

Legal & Compliance

The Legal & Compliance department reviews and ensures Real Garant’s compliance with and enforcement of all legal regulations and statutes. Possible tasks include:

  • Providing legal advice to management and departments
  • Support in all legal areas, in particular insurance contract and supervisory law, as well as general contract and employment law
  • Reviewing Real Garant’s adherence to all legal statutes and regulations
  • Support for strategic company issues
  • Representing the company in court
